After the guys cheered our feelings last year with the Single "Erna P." from DIE AERZTE, now the and on time for the 10th birthday of the band the long awaited cover-album "Graverobbing" is coming!

Waiting was worth it, because Thee Flanders take you on their bizarre ride through melody and rhythm. Presented on the disc is a fantastic collection of great hits and evergreens of different decades and styles. So it is note worthily that there are not just Psychobilly/RocknRoller-covers on it, but even pop-songs of the 80s. This might irritate at first, but it makes the disc just "round". It could not be bad if hits of DEPECHE MODE, YAZOO, NEW MODEL ARMY, BILLY IDOL or BLONDIE are played in psychobilly-style, could it?! But also friend of classic psychobilly-hits will be happy about the songs from METEORS, MAD SIN, DEMENTED ARE GO! and BATMOBILE. And if it is not enough, songs from ELVIS, MISFITS and Die AERZTE will be added on top. If I tell you, that even El Koefte from MAD SIN and Jeroen Haamers from BATMOBILE are guest-vocals - isn't it enough for you?!

Thanks to the charming obstinate kind of interpretation, Thee Flanders reach their aim to press their own stamp of heart and soul on all the songs. Besides, as a bonus for all the fans out there, there is the “Freakshow-DVD” as a present for the 10th birthday additionally for free!!!

„HAPPY ENDINGS” …from ELVIS was a ghosttrack on the "Erna P."-single. A real Elvis-fan should jump in the air, because the song (early 60s) is one of the top rarities and difficult to come by. This version comes with a trashy organ…

„ERNA P.“ …the already known title-song of the EP is an old track of DIE AERZTE from 1984, recorded on a b-side of the rare single "Paul". A simple story of an old granny which gets an unexpected visit from an unknown man. Same vocals, but psycho-style-music.

„51st STATE“ …of NEW MODEL ARMY - one of the best songs of the well know band was taken from the cult-album "Ghost of Chain" from 1986. Here as a cool acoustic-version!

„PERVY IN THE PARK“ …of demented are go ! - great songs from the splatter-psychos taken from the album "In sickness and in Health" from 1986. Not for weak nerves and rotten bones!

„HALLOWEEN“ …from misfits, one of the first and best songs of the same-named EP from 1981. Then with Glenn Danzig - here to show respect to the fathers of horror-punk!

„THE CIRCUS“ …from ERASURE, one of the most unusual Flanders songs on this CD and one of the best, too. Everyone who know the original should know how difficult it could be to arrange this songs as great as Thee Flanders did. Taken from the same-titled record from 86.

„TRANSSYLVANIAN EXPRESS“ …from BATMOBILE, one of their greatest hits in their early days. The original was released 1985 on their first LP. Great cover, where Batmobile-singer Jeroen Haamers and Flanders-Norman give a great duet. Excellent and exclusive only on this disc - so nice Psychobilly could be!

„MASTER & SERVANT“ …from DEPECHE MODE, back to the 80s part II. After the successful cover of ERASURE it would be intolerable if there would not be a song of the father of synthy-pop on the disc, too. The famous song was on the 1984 album "Some great reward" - enjoy the music!

„FLEISCHZUG“ …from MAD SIN was on the "Erna P."-EP as well and excited the fans on the "Monsterparty"-LP. This new version is even better and a true rarity, because Mad Sin-head El Köfte sings along with Norman . A great duet, which gives this songs the image of "True Psycho". The original was on the 93er LP "Ticket to the Underworld".

„GUILTY ´06“ …von THEE FLANDERS, - what's this? A cover of Thee Flanders by themselves?! The original was on the 1st LP "Punkabilly from Hell" 2003.

„ONLY YOU“ … the evergreen from YAZOO , a song, which was a must after covers of DEPECHE MODE and ERASURE. Everyone can sing along - just do it! For comparison just insert the "Upstairs at Erics" from 82.

„MARIA“ …the comback-hit of blondie from the 1999 album "No Exit". Incredible great song in a flandered-version.

„THE CRAZED“ …from the Kings of Psychobilly METEORS was released on the "In Heaven" in 1981, this version comes with permission of the King himself. Let´s Wreck!!!!

„WHITE WEDDING“ …from BILLY IDOL. another hit everyone should know well, is another Psycho-Meets-Disco-song a the last one to sing along.

„TRANSSYLVANIAN EXPRESS“ (demo-version) …from BATMOBILE without Jeroen on vocals

Layout and cover are again great, it is not necessary to say that Norman Winter was behind it again. Beautiful presented as a digi-file to open up, including Bonus-DVD. First press is about 2000 pieces.

All in all it is a fantastic collection of many hits and evergreens that will be bewitched by the obstinate and bizarre charm of the 5 guys.

If that is not enough for you - Thee Flanders are working in the 5th album right now that should be issued in 2008 with the title "The Spirit of 666". In Japan this year should be released a Best Of-album and soon a Split-CD with 3 befriended bands.

Friends of classic-vinyl have to wait until September, presentation and specials are to be discussed, but you should watch out, because else after the first week it will say "Sold Out" again..
