Lucifers best friends are back from their graves.

Their last release „Graverobbing“ found a satisfied audience not only within the honoured circles of rock and roll. Now, right in time for the festival-season “Thee Flanders” surprises their fans with a “best of” release to show and remember 11 years of band history.

Originally planned as a tour-edition it will be available in stores, now. But hurry up, the Psychobillys from Potsdam limited their “best of”. 1000 pieces are available, only.

Do not expect a loveless arrangement of tracks. The disc is a careful composition of 26 tracks first class material, containing hits from the past and two new smasher from the album “Spirit of 666” which will be released in 2009.

The “Best of” is opened by “The Witch”, a song showing the five horned guys from their nice side. Sweet melodies with evergreen character are banishing the unsuspecting listener to take him beyond reality. The journey continues with the hit “Handle with care” from the “Spirit” album, too. Now the spell is completed and there is no return. “On your way” a track from the “Psychobilly Ratpack No.1” sampler leads directly to the most magnificent and most famous from the last four records. GRAVEROBBING: “Erna P.”, “Happy Endings” und “Fleischzug”; BACK FROM HELL: “Falling Down” and “Perverses Schwein `05”; MONSTER PARTY: “Amok”, “666”, “Deadly Secrets” and “Jack the Ripper”; PUNKABILLY FROM HELL: “Visions of the End” and “Rocking Corpse Grinder”.

It is quite nice but only a beginning. Reaching Track 16 and the following ones are previously unreleased, very rare and selected songs only released on Samplers before, make the special unique. “Transylvanian Express”, “ Six Ways ”, “Romantik”, “Stray Cat Strut” and “Schizophrenic Bastard” mark the climax of our journey through the lower realms of flandric Psychobilly. Passing by the live recordings “Jack the Ripper” and “Erna P.” from the first Psychomania Rumble in Potsdam 2007 and “Dead in my bed” (feat. David from the Tazmanian Devils) recorded at a show in Jena 2004. We reach the fantastic final.

Two rarities, “Pomade” from the Halloween sessions demo and “Ich liebe Mich ” from the “Denn sie wissen nicht was sie tun” Demo indulge the ears and the listener is lead back to reality by the well known outro.

Such a splendid inside needs a worthy outside, of course. Be sure that the inspired artist Norman Winter adorned the Digi Pack with one of his ghoulish paintings which gives “The Best of Thee Flanders” a beautiful appearance.

Note: The Digipack will be delivered without barcode; if necessary it can be out priced.

Simultaneously to the best of CD there will be an interesting release for the friends of vinyl, too. The Box “Deadly Secrets” contains five LP`s (one only within this box), a 7inch, posters, flyers and a booklet with the biography and the discography of “Thee Flanders”.
