BLUTIGER OSTEN is an authentic native fruit. A bitter, hard tuber matured on the adamant, nutrient-poor ground of the metropolis of dead called Brandenburg .

In the middle of the 90's the bands BMK-OST and BLOODY BONES wrote East-German punk-history.

In 2004 while recording a track for a kind of a football compilation, both singers of these bands were standing together in front of a microphone for the first time. Since summer of 2005 this project is being forced and from that time on phoenix from the ashes is called BLUTIGER OSTEN.

Two guitars, bassguitar and drums play fast and pounding punkrock without lacking in melodies. The lyrics, a mixture of irony, hatred, lifeblood and alcohol, are being roared out snottily and powerful by two singers.

In summary the music of the band is so wild, ungoverned and bestial like attila the hun on an overdose of speed.

The new album "hinterland" joins torrents of hatred with poignant sarcasm, humor and is a definite declaration of war on almost everything and everybody. Never before the fisticuff into the fat pusses of the so-called authorities, has been turned into music so perfectly. Far away from being awkward, the lyrics of the lads from the river Havel deal with common subjects of punkrock. In their own way they tell what they have to tell.

While listening to the record you feel like having a speaking pitbull attached to your neck. A pitbull, which has read several books before. The different styles of singing ( Bonat with his barking, roaring voice

and Johnson with his keen edge skirl ) assemble to a symphony of fury.

The new CD has a completely full-coloured Digi Pack with a 12-sided booklet which is containing a transparent tray. Details about the bands, some crazy pictures and all texts in are also included.
